DSP Firmware Engineer

DSP Firmware Engineer | £60-70k | Oxford | Hybrid

My client is a global leader in the space industry, pioneering innovation.

After more than 100 successful missions, they are expanding their operations and seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join their team.

Main duties:

1. Develop and implement DSP algorithms for telecom and sensing applications.
2. Design firmware and troubleshoot hardware/software for space missions.
3. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on telecommunications payloads and sensors.
4. Maintain and extend existing products, producing formal requirements as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar discipline with 5+ years of experience in signal processing design.
2. Expertise with speeds of over 20Ghz.
3. Familiarity with 5G/LTE stacks.
4. Proficiency in low-level languages (C/C++, C#, Python).

Bonus:

1. Satellite communications experience.
2. Experience with radiation mitigation.
