What will you be doing?
In this role, you will support the efficient processing of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This position is critical in ensuring we meet our statutory obligations while safeguarding personal data and maintaining trust.
You’ll be responsible for logging, tracking, and monitoring DSARs using our internal case management tools. You’ll perform initial triage of incoming requests—validating identities and clarifying scopes where needed—while working closely with different departments to gather relevant data.
Reviewing and redacting information to ensure it meets legal and regulatory standards will be a key part of your responsibilities. You’ll also maintain accurate records of all requests and actions taken, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout the process.
You'll support the drafting of formal responses under the guidance of the Data Protection Officer or designated lead and will escalate complex or sensitive requests when necessary. We value continuous improvement, so you’ll contribute to refining DSAR handling processes and documentation.
Beyond case management, you’ll also play a role in training and awareness activities, helping colleagues better understand data protection best practices.
