Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Dryliner for a Newcastle-based construction project. The role involves installing plasterboard, working with partitions and ceiling systems, and following site drawings and safety procedures.

Start is Monday 2nd November with a 4-week duration, and candidates should be available for a prior start on Monday 19th October to cover the full period. Ideal applicants will have previous drylining experience, a valid CSCS card, their own tools where required,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dryliner.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools, where required.
• Full PPE.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to start Monday 19th October and commit to the full 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Install plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
• Work with metal stud partitions and ceiling systems.
• Measure, cut and fix plasterboard accurately.
• Install drylining systems per site specifications.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Work from drawings and site instructions when required.
• Collaborate with other trades to meet deadlines.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
