About the Role

GLO Marine is seeking an experienced Offshore Project Manager with a strong background in managing offshore support vessels or vessels servicing the offshore energy sector. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role with clear responsibilities in both technical project management and relationship development.

Your primary focus will be managing vessel retrofit and drydock projects end-to-end-from planning through execution. In parallel, you'll support account development and client engagement efforts, helping to strengthen long-term relationships and identify future opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities - Vessel & Drydock Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of vessel upgrade projects, drydock and repair projects, acting as the main on-site representative throughout.
  • Define and document work scopes, inspections, and survey items in coordination with clients, class, and ship staff.
  • Manage day-to-day progress at the yard, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, suppliers, crew, and surveyors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Monitor costs, timelines, and scope changes, keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and vessel handover upon project completion.

Secondary Responsibilities - Client & Account Development

  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients during project delivery and beyond, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Identify potential follow-up work or new retrofit needs during project execution and coordinate internally to shape new proposals.
  • Support sales efforts by presenting technical scopes, participating in client meetings, and providing input for pricing and quotations.
  • Assist in preparing commercial offers, contract add-ons, and scope variations in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Contribute to the growth of strategic accounts through relationship-building, trust, and consistent delivery performance.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years' experience in a superintendent, vessel manager, or technical project management role.
  • Proven background managing drydocks and upgrades for offshore vessels (PSV, AHTS, MPSV, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of class, flag state, and safety requirements.
  • Comfortable in both technical environments (yards, vessels) and client meetings.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; strong sense of ownership.
  • Commercial awareness and interest in growing long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel for projects and site-based supervision.

Why Join GLO Marine?

  • Take ownership of high-impact offshore retrofit projects.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with engineers, managers, and specialists.
  • Shape how we deliver and grow key offshore accounts.
  • Competitive package with opportunities for performance-based incentives.
