Job description

Job Purpose:

To carry out dry riser system inspections, testing, and repairs on a wide variety of buildings and structures across the UK in a safe and professional manner. This includes checking and reporting compliance against established industry standards to ensure that the required certification can be provided to the client.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Undertake physical test inspections against agreed work orders from clients, managing multiple jobs during each working day.
2. Operate and service the test pump or outlet valves on the dry riser system, including opening, closing, and applying lubricants as required.
3. Use standard forms and checklists to produce reports for each site and system tested, enabling the generation of certifications and processing by management for client delivery.
4. Identify remedial or repair works accurately using technical knowledge and understanding of British Standards. Attention to detail is crucial as this information impacts certifications, quotations, and follow-up work.
5. Complete all company paperwork accurately, including job sheets, schedules, and timesheets, and submit them to the office-based team promptly.
6. Perform all work diligently and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
7. Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate professionally with clients, management, and third-party individuals.
8. Maintain and audit vehicle and equipment to high standards, driving carefully and respectfully at all times.
