Job Summary:

Under the oversight of the Dry Dock Interiors Specialist, you will manage the execution of approved dry dock scope of work for fleet interiors enhancement projects during the dry-docking period.

You will join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing fleet interiors, working closely with departments like hotel operations, marine & technical, and environmental compliance to ensure successful project execution.

This role is based in Disney Cruise Line’s London Hammersmith office and requires approximately 3 months of global travel per year, including full presence during dry dock periods.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, plan, and execute interior enhancement projects during dry-docking.
  • Write detailed scopes of work and technical specifications.
  • Provide documentation, including technical specifications for scope delivery.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and provide recommendations.
  • Research new ideas, products, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure documentation is updated in project management systems.
  • Liaise with operational partners and external vendors.
  • Manage project costs and ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with shipboard leadership and external bodies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Higher education in Maritime Engineering, Design, Project or Facilities Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Maritime Industry with Passenger Vessels.
  • Project Management experience, preferably with formal qualifications.
  • Budget management skills.
  • Dry Dock experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for cruise ship interiors.
