Job summary

X4 Group is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to support a UK public sector client. You will maintain and enhance an established public-facing platform, combining development, live service support, security maintenance and accessibility improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Drupal development in live production environments.
• Strong PHP development for Drupal modules, themes and templates.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Drupal CMS including custom modules, themes and templates.
• Manage Drupal upgrades, security patches and deployments.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA) across pages and forms.
• Develop secure, maintainable code using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX/content specialists to translate user feedback into technical improvements.
• Provide technical estimates and communicate progress, risks and dependencies.
