Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Drop Hammer Press Operator / Stamper to join our forging team in the United Kingdom. You will operate Massey 1T and 2T hammers, clipping/trimming presses, and related equipment to produce high-integrity forged components to specification.

This is a physically demanding, safety-critical role in a heavy industrial environment. You will read job cards and drawings, set up tooling, monitor quality, and coordinate with furnace operators and

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating drop forging hammers or power hammers.
• Experience in hot forging, stamping, or heavy press operations.
• Competent working with heated metal and forging dies.

Responsibilities

• Operate Massey 1T & 2T drop hammers safely and efficiently.
• Set up tooling, dies, and workstations for production runs.
• Forge heated billets to required shapes and tolerances.
• Operate clipping/trimming presses to remove flash and finish forgings.
• Monitor forging quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Adjust hammer blows and positioning based on material behaviour and die fill.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Work in coordination with furnace operators, setters and inspectors.
• Follow production schedules and meet output targets.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Comply with all health & safety and PPE requirements.
