Job summary

Creative Care, part of We Change Lives, is seeking a Support Worker for daytime shifts in Leicester. The role involves supporting individuals with complex care needs in a residential setting and requires a UK driving licence for daily duties. Training is provided and a range of bonuses is offered to colleagues.

Qualifications

• A recognised health or social care qualification (desirable).
• Evidence of wanting to professionally develop.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Experience supporting people with disabilities, older people, dementia or mental health needs.
• Experience working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new colleagues during induction to support high-quality care delivery.
• Provide effective communication including accurate written reports.
• Follow WCL financial procedures.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with support plans and organisational policy (including personal care, physical and mental support, medication, activities and engagement).
• Support the Service Manager with complaints and concerns following WCL policy.
• Maintain positive relationships with families, the community, and external partners.
