£38/hour typical lesson rates. Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.
Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.
