Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited is expanding across the UK and seeking driving instructors to join our nationwide team. Earn around £38 per hour with flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or full-time diary.

We provide a structured Training Academy to guide you through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 and offer dual-control car options to start teaching sooner. Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, servicing 6-8 postcodes, with training fees repayable after one year of service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Willing to complete DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3 through our Training Academy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Teach learners to drive safely and confidently within local postcodes.
• Provide feedback and coaching during lessons.
• Adhere to DVSA guidelines and company training.
• Manage flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Excellent Earning Potential (£38/hour typical lesson rates)

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary.

Local Work, Less Travel

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel. After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

New Training Academy - Full Support Built In

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability. You’ll help learners gain independence, improve road safety, and experience the satisfaction of seeing students pass and succeed.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full

All instructors pay for training. Training fees can be paid back in full after you have worked with us for 1 year (ask for details).
