Your new company
Hays Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Driving Labourer to support a busy construction and logistics operation in Cheltenham. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is confident behind the wheel of a large box van.
Your new role

• Goods In: Unload kitchen units from HGVs, check for damages or shortages, and stack items safely on pallets.
• Goods Out: Prepare stock (kitchen units and carpentry components) for next-day delivery.
• Driving & Delivery: Transport materials to various locations within Cheltenham using a large box van.
• Housekeeping: Collect site waste, break down materials, and dispose of them into skips. Maintain cleanliness and order at the base location.

What you'll need to succeed

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Confidently operating a large box van.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
