Job description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest growing driving schools in the UK, currently with 200 driving instructors on the road and hundreds more in training who will soon be hitting the roads.

There is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19.

Over the last 12 months, our driving instructors have seen their hourly rates increase by an average of £3 due to high demand.

Furthermore, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. There has never been a better time to become a driving instructor.

Who can become a Driving Instructor?

We have recently recruited individuals from various industries, including:

  • Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
  • Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
  • IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
  • Health industry (care assistant, care manager, trainers, doctors, nurses)
  • Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)
Training and Requirements
  • Full training is provided, conducted locally whenever possible.
  • Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
  • To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:
    • Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years.
    • Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
    • Have no more than 6 points on your licence.
