Job description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, currently with 200 driving instructors on the road and hundreds in our training programme who will soon be hitting the roads.

There is currently a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19.

In the last 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 per hour due to high demand.

Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. There has never been a better time to become a driving instructor.

Who can become a Driving Instructor?

Recently, we have recruited people from various industries, including:

  • Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
  • Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
  • IT industry (IT support, cybersecurity, web designer, engineers, web developer)
  • Health industry (care assistant, care manager, care trainer, doctor, nurse)
  • Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)

Full training is provided and conducted as locally as possible.

Requirements to apply as a Driving Instructor:
