Driving Instructor - High demand opportunity with increased pay rates (Driving Licence Required)
  • Sector: Support / IAG, Teaching Assistant
Job Description

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in our training programme who will be hitting the roads shortly. There is currently a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19. Over the last 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased on average by £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is an excellent time to consider a career as a driving instructor.

Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If yes, this could be the right career for you. We have recruited individuals from various industries, including:

  • Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
  • Finance industry (finance manager, accountant, analyst, supervisor, director)
  • IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
  • Health industry (care assistant, care manager, trainers, medical professionals)
  • Education industry (teachers, teaching assistants, admin officers, lecturers)

Full training is provided, conducted locally where possible. Our pass rates are above the industry average, and we offer a refund of all training fees when you work with us.

To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:

  1. Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
  2. Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
  3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence
