Job summary

My Four Wheels is looking for Driving Instructors to meet the increasing demand due to learner driver backlogs. As part of a trusted driving school, successful candidates will receive local training, have their fees refunded, and enjoy flexible working opportunities while working with a variety of individuals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2.5 years.
• Cannot have been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
• Must have no more than 6 points on the licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide driving instruction to learner drivers.
• Maintain a high pass rate during training.
• Communicate effectively with learners to enhance their experience.

Driving Instructor (Driving Licence Required)

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in training who will be hitting the roads shortly.

There is currently a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19.

Over the past 12 months, our Driving Instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of GBP 3 due to high demand.

Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. This is the best time to become a driving instructor.
