Job summary

My Four Wheels Limited is recruiting Driving Instructors nationwide. No previous instructing experience is required—we train you from scratch and guide you to becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI).

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, with earnings up to £39k part-time or £50,000+ for full-time schedules. You decide when you work, with local assignments and minimal travel, plus access to our new Training Academy and full support.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
• Have no more than 5 penalty points.
• Have no bans in the last 5 years.
• Be reliable, patient, and confident communicating with people.

Responsibilities

• Teach learners to drive and build their skills to pass the DVSA test.
• Undergo training through our academy to become an Approved Driving Instructor.
• Work flexible hours and manage a local diary with minimal travel.

Lesson rates average around £38 per hour, supporting strong income whether you work part-time or full-time. For example, working 32 hours per week can deliver earnings up to £39k per year, and those working 40hrs have the opportunity to reach £50,000+.

You decide when you work - mornings, evenings, weekends, or a full-time diary. It's a career that fits around your life.

Most instructors teach within 30 minutes of home, typically covering 6-8 postcodes, helping you maximise teaching time and reduce travel.

After passing DVSA Part 2, you are able to apply for a trainee licence, allowing you to begin teaching and earning sooner while completing the final stage of qualification.

Our new Training Academy provides a structured route through DVSA Parts 1, 2 and 3, combining:

• Flexible online learning for theory and preparation
• In-car coaching to build driving and teaching ability
• Live classroom sessions for extra guidance and confidence
• Lesson plans, resources and ongoing support to help you succeed

Dual-Control Vehicle Options

We can support you with access to dual-control car options through established providers, including new and nearly-new models such as Ford Puma, Renault Clio, MG3 and Vauxhall Corsa, subject to availability.

Training Fees Paid Back in Full
