Job Description:

My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in our training programme. There is a record number of learner drivers needing teaching due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. There has never been a better time to become a driving instructor.

Are you considering a career as a driving instructor? Do you have good customer service skills? Anyone can become a driving instructor. Recently, we have recruited individuals from the following industries:

  • Driving industry (HGV driver, delivery driver, van driver, LGV driver, bus driver)
  • IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, web development)
  • Education industry (teacher, teaching assistant, admin officer, personal assistant, lecturer)

We provide full training, conducted as locally as possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us. To qualify as a driving instructor, you must:

  • Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
  • Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
