Job summary

PlanetRecruitment is seeking a Drivers Mate / Labourer to join our team across Berkshire and the wider region. You will work with a driver to complete collections, clearances, and cleaning duties, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves varied daily locations and start times from 06:45, with some flexibility depending on the day’s work. Applicants must have a full driving licence and be willing to perform cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive sprinter-sized vans.
• Able to lift heavy items and perform manual handling.
• Comfortable working face-to-face with customers.
• Willing to perform cleaning duties as part of job duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collections, pick ups, and clearances with a driver.
• Clean designated areas for each job.
• Clearance of materials to proper disposal locations.
• Load and unload items to and from the vehicle, with some heavy lifting.

Salary: GBP12.71 - GBP12.71 per hour

Position;Drivers Mate / Labourer

Salary; £12.71 per hour

The role;

You will be required to carry out collections, pick ups, clearances as well as cleaning duties alongside a driver across Berkshire and the wider region.

This is a varied role with everyday a different job and location to go to.

• Cleaning of designatedareas for each job
• Clearance of all materials from the job and taken to the correct disposal locations
• General labouring requiredfor most jobs you will be assigned to with some heavy lifting required
• Dealing with customers face to face to ensure an excellent service is offered.

Start times from 0645 each morning, with some flexibilityrequired depending on the location of the days work.

About you;

Applicants must have a full driving licence with some knowledge of driving sprinter sized vans. You should also be willing to carryout cleaning duties for the jobs required.

Required;

• Positive and self motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Full Driving licence
• Ability to carry out heavy lifting when required
• Able to load and unload items to and from the vehicle
• Able to communicate with customers face to face
