Job Opportunity: Driver's Mate (Tanker & Jetting Services)

Position: Permanent, full-time (50 hours/week)

Role Overview: Be the right-hand support that keeps our tankers moving! Join our crew as a Driver's Mate and become an essential part of our Tanker & Jetting services.

As a Tanker and Jetting Labourer, you will work closely with our professional HGV drivers, assisting with daily operations to ensure efficient delivery of jetting and tankering services. This hands-on role involves physical work, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the operation of Tanker and Jetting vehicles as required by the Tanker Manager.
2. Ensure all related equipment is in good condition; report faults or damages promptly to the Transport and Tanker Managers.
3. Perform actions to enable equipment reuse, such as emptying tanks and topping up fuel, AdBlue, and lubricants.
4. Drain and clean jetting equipment after use to prevent freezing and damage.
5. Empty and clean suction tanks at the end of shifts.
6. Assist the Tanker Manager with yard and vehicle maintenance duties.
7. Conduct pre-use checks and report abnormalities.
8. Support vehicle-specific tasks, including servicing, MOTs, and repairs.
9. Operate vehicles safely, using clear hand signals as a banksman when necessary.

Requirements:

• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Certifications in Jetting, Street Works, and Confined Spaces (desirable).
• A proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
