Driver/Driver's Mate Role in Thurrock

My client based in Thurrock is looking for experienced Dray Drivers Mates to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves working 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times no earlier than 4:30 am.

Salary: £14 per hour

Key Duties for the Drivers Mate Role:

1. Assisting HGV drivers with deliveries to customers.
2. Supporting the driver and warehouse team in loading and unloading stock at leisure and catering establishments.
3. Building strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
4. Using your local knowledge to help the driver deliver on time safely.
5. Prioritizing health and safety in all processes.

Requirements:

- Must be physically fit as the role involves heavy lifting and is physically demanding.
