Drivers Mate | Royal Portbury Docks, Bristol
Hours: Sunday-Thursday working any 4/5 on a 6-week rostered basis. Shift times 15:00-03:00
Pay: £12.21

Support the driver in completing store deliveries of clothing items into the customer’s chosen room. This is a hands-on role that requires manual handling (handballing) and excellent customer service skills. You’ll work closely with the driver to ensure safe handling and timely deliveries across retail stores.

The Role:

• Assist the driver with store deliveries across retail sites
• Carry clothing items into the customer’s chosen room at delivery
• Carry out manual handling (handballing) safely and efficiently
• Help ensure all deliveries run to schedule
• Represent the business with professionalism and excellent customer service
• Work within a fixed 6-week rotation pattern alongside your driver

The Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling (handballing)
• Positive, reliable, and willing to work as part of a two-person team
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work 2 weekends out of every 6
• Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential (full training provided)
