THE ROLE:

Class 1 Drivers

EV Cargo are looking for Class 1 Driver with Transport Office Experience to join our team on Nights at our depot in Magor working 4on / 4off shift pattern (18:00 to 18:00).

Our drivers have one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

We are looking for people that enjoy both driving and operating the Transport. This would include:

1. Transport Office Operator:

• First point of contact for the driving team.
• Communicate any potential issues with deliveries.
• Pre-brief & De-brief the driving team.
• Ensure vehicle compliance.
• Monitor the deliveries through the shift.
• Track vehicles through the shift.
• Assist other depots where required.

• Ensure compliance of all equipment.
• Drive EVC vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure all loads are secure and strapped in accordance with EVC policies.
• Communicate any issues to the transport office.
• Drive with the appropriate regulations.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy.
• Act as an ambassador and the face of EVC.

• Communication.
• Monitor compliance.
• Process VOR equipment.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience in Class 1 role.
• Transport office experience.
