Job description

EV Cargo are looking for LGV1 Drivers to join our team in Thatcham on nights on working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified LGV1 driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

Location

This role will be PM shifts on a rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern at our site in Thatcham.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Various HGV driving duties
2. Driving independently or alongside a banksman or rep

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualifications: HGV Class 1 Licence. Moffett/FLT Licence is preferable but not essential.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.

Communication: You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.

Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Planning & Organisation: Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature. Proven ability to work on own initiative.
