We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.

Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!

About The Role

As the Drivers Community Manager - Global you will complement existing driver engagement activity within marketing, public policy, local ops and management teams to deliver community engagement via regular forums, engagement sessions and online channels. You will also foster and develop relationships with the people who use Bolt to ensure we’re addressing their concerns about our products and the sector. Finally, you will enhance Bolt’s engagement with regulators by sharing views and insight from the frontline, both directly and by facilitating forums that share best practice between markets.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Organising regular forums with drivers, fleets, and couriers to understand their issues, update them on Bolt developments, and share learnings to improve the driver offer.
  • Supporting social initiatives focused on drivers' skills development, entrepreneurship, and business management.
  • Presenting on key topics relevant to drivers, including safety, remuneration, fraud, and processes around blocking or removal.
  • Creating reports and external communications documents about drivers who use Bolt.
  • Organising regulatory forums to share best practices, find commonalities, and advocate for sector-wide improvements.
  • Representing Bolt at conferences, events, and meetings across various markets, including speaking on panels.

About you:

  • You have excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other languages such as French, German, or Polish is an advantage.
  • You are great at presenting, including in front of large audiences.
  • You are a people person and a good listener, with an interest in the platform economy and experience working closely with community groups.
  • You have experience in events, logistics, and budget management across various countries.
  • You are willing to travel widely, set deadlines, collaborate with other functions like marketing and operations, and project manage a variety of processes.
  • You are resilient, capable of adapting to uncomfortable situations, and able to respond well under pressure; an understanding of taxi and private hire issues, or experience engaging with trade unions or regulators, is a distinct advantage.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying if you feel you’re the kind of person described above!

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
  • Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
