Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Driver & Waste Management Operative to join their team. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Location: Northfleet

Salary: £14.36 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Driving company-owned tipper trucks with fabricated cages to collect building materials from trade stores and deliver them to various sites.
  • Collecting and disposing of building and household waste from different locations.
  • Performing general maintenance and repair duties, including make-safe tasks.
  • Ensuring safety and compliance with waste disposal regulations.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Experience operating tipper trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Physical fitness to lift and carry heavy materials.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of construction materials, industry best practices, and health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and participate in training.
