Alliance Automotive Logistics, the distribution arm of Alliance Automotive Group, is recruiting a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy branch in the UK. The role combines driving duties with warehouse duties, requiring flexibility and good communication with the route dispatcher.

Ideal candidates have a Full UK Driving Licence and reliable timekeeping. You will pack loads, deliver orders on routes, check stock, and help maintain a safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
