Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics, the distribution arm of Alliance Automotive Group, is hiring a Driver/Warehouse Operative. The role combines driving and warehouse duties across our busy branch network.

You will pack, load, and deliver orders, liaise with dispatch, and ensure accurate stock control while upholding a clean, safe work environment. Ideal candidates will have a Full UK Driving Licence, be flexible, and demonstrate good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to the company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and checking accuracy.
• Oversee dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Check and store supplier deliveries; report shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock-take program and keep stock correctly located.
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
