Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics in Birmingham is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join the busy team. This dual role requires you to perform in either capacity as needed in the branch, including packing, loading, deliveries and stock checks.

The ideal candidate will have a Full UK Driving Licence, be flexible, and demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability to ensure timely deliveries and accurate stock handling in a fast-paced environment. Experience in similar roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications.

• Unload goods as per client specifications and check deliveries for accuracy.
• Oversee dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries in the warehouse.

A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.

Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.

Responsibilities:

Driver

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Warehouse Operative

• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
