Responsibilities

• Driver: Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications.
• Driver: Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Driver: Maintain communication with route dispatcher.
• Driver: Unload goods per client specifications.
• Driver: Review deliveries with customers to ensure needs are met.
• Driver: Obtain delivery confirmations from customers.
• Warehouse Operative: Pick orders and load vans; check orders for accuracy.
• Warehouse Operative: Oversee dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Warehouse Operative: Check and store supplier deliveries; report shortages or damaged stock.
• Warehouse Operative: Assist with rolling stock checks to keep track of location.

A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.

Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

Driver

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Warehouse Operative

• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
