Job summary

AVS Newcastle ltd is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their Mobility Aids service based in Omagh. This role involves ensuring the maintenance of mobility equipment and occasionally transporting stock. The ideal candidate will have driving experience, be physically capable of handling loads, and possess strong teamwork skills. You will contribute significantly to enhancing the lives of individuals who rely on mobility equipment for their independence. This permanent position offers a salary of £22,074 per annum and 36 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

Whether working as part of the team or as a lone worker, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the Mobility Aids Service. You will provide support to other members of the department ensuring that the operation complies with, and where possible, exceeds customer expectations, contractual arrangements, service levels and overall company requirements.

What does it take to be a successful Driver / Warehouse Operative?

• Being a team player. Happy to support colleagues but can self-manage your time and workload.
• A confident and safe driver. Van driving experience and knowledge of Omagh and surrounding area.
• Physically able to lift and carry loads up to 21kg (within the Health and Safety Manual Handling criteria).
• IT skills with an ability to learn and operate a stock management system.
