A leading humanitarian organization is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Operative to support its Mobility Aids service. This role involves maintaining equipment standards and facilitating efficient logistics, contributing directly to helping vulnerable individuals. Candidates should have strong driving skills and be able to manage their workload effectively.
Do you have driving and warehousing experience which could make a difference to the lives of people in need?
Our Mobility Aids service (MAS) offers hire of equipment like wheelchairs to help people live more independent lives. You will be mainly based in the warehouseensuring that all mobility aids are cleaned, serviced and repaired to an agreed national standard.There will also be some driving involved, approximately one day per week, transporting stock between British Red Cross sites.
Whether working as part of the team or as a lone worker, you willcontribute to the smooth operation of the Mobility Aids Service. You will provide support to other members of the department ensuring that the operation complies with, and where possible, exceeds customer expectations, contractual arrangements, service levels and overall company requirements.
