Exciting Opportunity available! Join our client's team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative in Southam.

Position: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative

Location: Southam

Pay rate: £11.64 per hour

Contract type: Temp to Perm

Working Patterns:

- Position: 3 weekday shifts (12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Review and verify orders before delivery
  • Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries
  • Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
  • Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
  • Adhere to traffic and transportation regulations
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Pick orders and prepare them for delivery
  • Assist with general warehouse maintenance
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Full driving licence
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in manual handling
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet targets and work well in a team
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
  • Willingness to undertake any necessary training
