Exciting Opportunity: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative in Southam

Join our client's team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative in Southam. If you enjoy being on the road and providing excellent customer service, this role is ideal for you.

Position: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative

Location: Southam

Pay rate: £11.64 per hour

Contract type: Temp to Perm

Working Pattern:

3 weekday shifts (12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm)

Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Review and verify orders before delivery
  • Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries
  • Follow assigned routes and adhere to schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
  • Conduct safety checks and risk assessments on the van
  • Follow traffic and transportation regulations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Pick and prepare orders for delivery
  • Assist with warehouse maintenance
  • Previous experience in similar roles, a full driving license, and good geographical knowledge required
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience in manual handling and ability to meet targets
  • Flexible to work different shifts and undertake training as needed
