Job summary

Rexel Gateshead Hub is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Person to join the team on a Monday–Friday shift (7am–4pm / 8am–5pm). You will provide great customer service on every delivery, ensuring accurate order picking and on-time arrivals.

In this role you will support warehouse operations during quieter periods and take on multi-drop delivery routes while maintaining a professional, friendly face with customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence held for 12+ months with no more than 3 penalty points and over 21 years old.
• Proven multi-drop delivery and basic warehouse experience.
• Great conversational skills to enhance customer service and engagement with colleagues.
• Ability to adapt and switch tasks as needed to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate order picking.
• On-time delivery.
• Polite and professional face-to-face customer interaction.
• Support within the warehouse during quiet periods and manage multi-drop routes.

Job Description

As a Driver/Warehouse Person, you will be a key member of the team providing a great service to customers & Branches by; Ensuring accurate order picking, On-time delivery and Polite & professional face to face customer interaction.

This role involves you supporting within the warehouse in quiet periods, but mainly completing multi-drop delivery routes and supporting the operation in any other way needed.

• DRIVING: Held a Valid UK Drivers Licence for 12+ months, with no more than 3 points & to be over the age of 21 years old (Insurance purposes)
• EXPERIENCE: Have proven Multi-drop delivery & basic Warehouse experience
• COMMUNICATION: Have great conversational skills to enhance your customer service and engagement across to your colleagues and Customers
• ADAPTABILITY: have the ability to switch up your day when needed, to support the businesses needs
