Job summary
FMG RS is seeking an experienced Driver/Valeter for our Redruth site in the United Kingdom. You will clean and valet vehicles after repair, prepare courtesy cars, and ensure high presentation standards. You will also perform basic vehicle checks and drive vehicles on site or for local deliveries.
A positive, detail-oriented candidate with a full UK driving licence is essential. Excellent communication and teamwork are key in our fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valeter or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards of work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover.
- Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned.
- Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards.
- Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required.
- Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
