Job summary

U-Drive Vehicle Hire in Southampton is seeking a friendly Driver/Valeter to support our branch operations. You will drive, deliver, and collect vehicles, while also valeting to high standards, ensuring rental vehicles are customer-ready.

The role requires a full UK driving license and a can-do attitude, with a 45-hour week on a Monday to Saturday rotation. Join a team focused on excellent service and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive, deliver, and/or collect vehicles as directed
• Clean and valet vehicles to U-Drive standards
• Conduct end-of-hire vehicle checks for damage
• Complete drivers' logs and branch sign-in/out
• Perform Pre-Rental and Post-Rental Inspections, reporting faults and damage
• Park vehicles in designated areas
• Assist customers by showcasing vehicles and explaining controls
