Job summary

ZIGUP plc in Hastings is seeking a Driver/Valeter to join our busy team on the Hastings site. The role offers a £12.71 per hour base, with bonus schemes and excellent company benefits, working 45 hours per week (8am - 5.30pm).

As a Driver/Valeter you will clean and valeting customer vehicles after repair, support with courtesy cars, and ensure top presentation and quality standards while performing basic vehicle checks and onsite driving duties. Full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Valeter is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover.
• Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned.
• Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards.
• Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required.
• Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver/Valeter to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists in our ever busy site in Hastings.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover
• Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned
• Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards
• Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required
• Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

• Previous experience as a Valeter or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards of work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
