Job summary

FMG Repair Services Limited in Hastings is seeking a Driver/Valeter to join our busy site. You will clean and valets vehicles after repair, move vehicles on site, and support handover readiness.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 45 hours a week, 8am–5:30pm, with a competitive bonus and excellent company benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a Valeter is desirable but not essential.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of work.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover.
• Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned.
• Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards.
• Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required.
• Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver/Valeter to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists in our ever busy site in Hastings.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover
• Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned
• Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards
• Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required
• Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

• Previous experience as a Valeter or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards of work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
