Job summary

U-Drive are looking for a friendly and 'can-do' driver/valeter at our Exeter branch. You will drive, deliver, and collect vehicles, while also valeting and ensuring vehicles are customer-ready. A full UK driving license is essential, with a Monday to Saturday rolling rota over a 45-hour week.

You will conduct end-of-hire checks, complete logs, and perform vehicle inspections. This customer-focused role offers training, an employee discount program, and on-site parking at the Exeter site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive, deliver, and/or collect vehicles as directed
• Clean and valet vehicles to U-Drive standards
• Conduct end-of-hire vehicle checks for damage
• Complete drivers' logs and branch sign-in/out
• Perform pre-rental and post-rental vehicle inspections, reporting faults
• Park vehicles in designated areas
• Assist customers by showcasing vehicles and explaining controls

About the Role As a Driver/Valeter at U-Drive, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our Exeter branch, working a 45-hour week on a Monday to Saturday rolling rota. This position involves driving responsibilities alongside vehicle valeting tasks to ensure our rental vehicles are well-maintained and customer ready. Whether delivering vehicles to branches or directly to customers, your attention to detail and commitment to customer service are paramount.,

• Drive, deliver, and/or collect vehicles as directed
