Job Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and preparing a variety of vehicles, from small cars to large 7.5T trucks, for rental.
2. Conducting 22-point safety & pre-rental inspections, focusing on vehicle hygiene and readiness.
3. Delivering and collecting vehicles nationwide, including vehicle inspections, handovers, and customer introductions.
4. Reporting vehicle defects such as dashboard warnings, service needs, and wear & tear to rental administrators for repairs.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring yard safety and following safety procedures.

Getting Started

• Full training provided.
• Primarily driving commercial vehicles like LWB panel vans, dropsides, tippers, and luton boxes; experience is preferred but not required.
• Interacting professionally with customers, as the first point of contact from Radius Vehicle Solutions.
• Adapting to workload changes based on customer and internal needs.
• Understanding and following new information, especially regarding vehicle deliveries and collections throughout the day.
• Having a good understanding of geography and confidence in driving in areas like London, South East, and East Midlands.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of full driving license, no more than six penalty points in the past 2 years. Applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance reasons.

Additional Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 (40 hours/week)
• Salary: £26,400 per annum
