Radius Vehicle Solutions are hiring a Driver-Valeter to join the passionate & successful location on a full-time basis based just outside of Bishop Stortford. The nature of this dual-role is to prepare, deliver and collect rental and lease vehicles to/from our customers. Radius Vehicle Solutions are an immensely proud vehicle provider, offering best-in-class customer service across a wide range of products.

Job Description

• Cleaning and preparing a real mix of vehicles - ranging from small cars to large 7.5T trucks - ready for their rental journey with our varied customer base.
• As part of our 22-point safety & pre-rental inspections, you are taking ownership of vehicle hygiene and readiness.
• Delivering and collecting our wide selection of vehicles nationwide and carrying out vehicle inspections, handovers and vehicle introductions with our customer base.
• Report vehicle defects - such as dashboard warnings, service schedules, vehicle wear & tear - to rental administrators for workshop attention.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring the safety of the yard, and following safety procedures.

Getting off to the best start in your new role looks like ...

• Full training will be provided.
• Our business model is 80% vans, you will be driving commercial vehicles such as LWB panel vans, dropsides, tippers and luton boxes, therefore experience is appreciated but not essential.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. You will be “frontline” and sometimes the first person they physically meet with from Radius Vehicle Solutions, and we know first impressions count.
• You are adaptable to change in workload in line with customer & internal requirements.
• Can understand and adhere to new information as it comes in, as new vehicle delivery & collections are added throughout the day.
• Good general understanding of geography and confidence in driving out of area into London, South East and to the East Midlands Headquarters.

Qualifications

Full Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years, no more than six penalty points within the past 2 years. For insurance purposes you must be aged 25 and over to apply for this role with us.

Additional Information

• Hours and Salary:
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 (40hrs per week)
• £26,400 per annum.
