Job summary

U-Drive in Poole is seeking a friendly Driver/Valeter who thrives in a customer-focused environment. If you hold a full UK driving license and can confidently operate a range of vehicles, we'd love to hear from you.

The role supports the Poole branch on a 45-hour week, Monday to Sunday rolling rota, combining driving duties with vehicle valeting to keep rental cars customer-ready. You will deliver vehicles as needed and inspect them.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Positive can-do attitude required.
• Effective communication with customers is key.
• Team player with honesty and trustworthiness.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Prompt and courteous responses to queries.

Responsibilities

• Drive, deliver, and/or collect vehicles as directed.
• Clean and valet vehicles to U-Drive standards.
• Conduct end-of-hire checks for damage.
• Complete drivers' logs and branch sign-in/out.
• Perform Pre-Rental and Post-Rental inspections and report faults.
• Park vehicles in designated areas.
• Assist customers by showcasing vehicles and explaining controls.
