Job summary

Ember Core Ltd in Scotland is seeking an experienced learning and development specialist to lead the design, development and continuous improvement of Ember’s driver training and development programmes.

Working closely with the Operations team across Scotland, you will create structured learning programmes that support drivers from induction to ongoing professional development, remedial coaching and leadership support, while building internal capability and ensuring consistent standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a comprehensive driver learning and development framework
• Create and implement high-quality training programmes from induction, driver CPC, refresher training and remedial coaching
• Build internal capability by developing training resources and introducing consistent standards and assessment practices
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to identify learning needs, analyse performance trends and design targeted learning interventions that support continuous improvement, customer service and operational excellence
• Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the effectiveness of learning programmes through quality assurance, learner feedback and operational performance data
