Job summary

HTC Oxford in Slough is seeking an experienced driver trainer to deliver onboarding sessions for DAF truck owners and fleet drivers. You will guide drivers on using advanced technology, fuel-saving techniques, and CO2 reduction strategies.

You will explain safety features such as adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and lane departure warnings, and deliver product demonstrations to customers in a clear and engaging way.

Qualifications

• Holding a valid heavy goods vehicle driving licence with Driver CPC card.
• Extensive background in commercial truck driving to build trust with drivers.
• Ability to clearly explain technical specifications and safety mechanics to individuals or fleets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured onboarding sessions and familiarization drives for new DAF truck owners and fleet drivers.
• Teach drivers how to use advanced tech, reduce fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
• Explain and demonstrate safety features such as adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and lane departure warnings.
• Deliver product demonstrations to customers.
