Job Description:

Cammack Transport is recruiting a Driver Trainer & Compliance Officer to supervise and ensure full compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety for individuals, equipment, and site, in accordance with all internal and external regulations and standards.

About the job:

  • Monitor and assist employees to ensure they can complete their tasks in compliance with all regulations, without additional risks;
  • Deliver Driver CPC training, maintain accurate records to ensure hours are completed before expiry;
  • Maintain records for internal and FORS standards, preparing for audits;
  • Utilize telematics systems to monitor driver behavior, infringements, and conduct de-briefs to promote safe driving and meet KPIs;
  • Work with HR to induct and train new employees on Health & Safety, Safe Working Practices, and Driver regulations;
  • Promote health & safety initiatives within the workplace;
  • Review and implement training requirements for staff and drivers to ensure compliance;
  • Keep updated with legislation affecting the business and O Licence to ensure compliance;
  • Compile data, including driver behavior, for group reports to maintain accurate statistics;
  • Report and review accidents, update the HSE portal to maintain incident visibility.

Your knowledge and experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and Driver Regulations
  • Understanding of Transport, Warehousing, and Plant legislation
  • FORS standards
  • Experience with telematics systems like TruTac, Microlise, Haultech
  • Operational experience in logistics services
  • Experience conducting driver assessments
  • Preparation of documentation and training for audits including FORS
  • Risk assessments and policy implementation skills
  • Ability to apply safety and driver regulations practically
  • Presentation skills for internal training delivery
  • Strong administration skills for record-keeping and data analysis
  • Effective communication and mentoring abilities
  • International CPC and Instructor’s Licence
  • Approved Driver CPC trainer
  • Class 1 driving licence
