Job Title: Driver Trainer

Role Overview:

Supporting the Driver Administrator and working as part of the training team, you will be responsible for delivering driver training to meet our Driver CPC commitments under our JAUPT-approved scheme.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess drivers and provide on-road training to promote best practices, including defensive driving, fuel efficiency, and proper vehicle and trailer use.
2. Conduct both one-on-one and classroom training sessions for groups, coordinating with driver schedules.
3. Complete confidential training reports and maintain electronic reporting systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experienced HGV1 Driver Trainer with knowledge of container transport and distribution operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• IT literacy is essential for electronic reporting.
• Previous relevant experience is advantageous.
