Job description

As a Driver Technician, you will support the operational delivery of tool hire equipment. Your responsibilities include traveling to various locations for the delivery and collection of hire equipment, demonstrating technical equipment to customers, and representing Sunbelt Rentals professionally at all times. You should be well-presented and capable of communicating effectively with customers on-site to promote a positive image of the company.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Deliver and collect equipment from customers, completing relevant checks and administrative tasks.
  2. Drive company vehicles safely and professionally, conducting all necessary safety checks.
  3. Issue safety and communication equipment and materials to clients on-site.
  4. Demonstrate safety equipment operation to customers during delivery.
  5. Diagnose and repair equipment as needed.
  6. Promote health and safety standards and ensure equipment complies with safety regulations.
  7. Maintain company standards while working under pressure, prioritizing safety at all times.
  8. Work with operations to resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  9. Conduct audit and compliance tasks.
  10. Perform general yard duties as required.
