Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking a reliable Driver / Stores Assistant for a busy engineering/manufacturing environment. The role combines driving and stores duties with a four-day week and potential permanent position after 12 weeks.

Starting immediately, the role offers 40 hours per week (Mon-Thu) with a temporary-to-permanent contract. Pay is £13.47 per hour, reflecting hands-on responsibilities in delivery, stock control and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
• Must be aged 25+ for company vehicle insurance.
• Experience in driving, stores, warehouse or logistics.
• Good organisational skills and reliability.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive company pickup or van to collect and deliver parts, materials and equipment.
• Complete local and regional deliveries.
• Support stores and spares department when not driving.
• Receive and process incoming goods.
• Pick, pack and prepare parts for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Maintain stock records and inventory accuracy.
• Keep stores area clean, safe and organised.
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
