Job summary

Veolia in Wolverhampton is seeking a professional driver to operate 48 hours per week, starting early mornings with weekend rota. You will drive to planned collection points, unload waste containers, and perform routine vehicle checks using onboard tech.

Essentially, you must hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and Digi/Tachograph card. Desirable experience in waste management is a plus, and you’ll join a team focused on community and environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC and Digi/Tachograph card.
• Desirable: Waste Management experience.
• Must be physically able to handle bins as required.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple waste containers.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes so you are always on the go.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

Salary: £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits - Weekly Pay £5.00 Daily meal allowance Single person allowance - Earn an extra £41.16 daily when you complete over 110 bins

Hours: 48 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 04:00am starts Required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
